QWhat is the difference between a Tie Back and a Proback swimsuit?
The Tie Back has fully adjustable thin straps that tie at the back of the neck for a customisable fit, and a high-cut skimpy leg for a bold, athletic look. The Proback has fixed, crossed shoulder straps that sit securely between the shoulder blades, with a medium cut leg offering a more covered, training-focused fit.
QIs this suit suitable for competitive racing?
The Sugar Plum Tie Back is a training and active swimsuit and is not a World Aquatics approved racing suit. For competition, see the Amanzi Acceler8 RIZE Kneeskin or Jammers, which are World Aquatics approved for sanctioned competition.
QHow do I choose the right size?
UK sizes run from 26 (Girls 10) to 38 (Womens 14). Amanzi sizing is based on Australian standard sizing. QHow do I look after my Amanzi swimsuit?
Rinse in cool, fresh water immediately after every use and hand wash with a detergent suitable for delicate fabrics. Never machine wash, wring or tumble dry. Air dry away from direct heat and sunlight. See our full product aftercare guide for detailed instructions.

Allens Swimwear is a family-run business founded in 1976 by Dennis Allen and his daughter Linda Beal. It started from a genuine need. “With 2 swimmers in the family it was often difficult to find the right kit, so dad and I took the plunge and started selling to local swimmers at our local pool in Kingsbury out of a suitcase and we’ve never looked back.” Today. Linda, her husband Richard, and three of their children Danny. Will and Jenna still run the business together. The suitcase may be long gone, but the founding principle of helping swimmers get the right kit remains exactly the same.
